The Netanya Terror Victims Fund distributed over 40 gift
packages to families of local terror victims for Rosh HaShana.
Some of the packages were put together by individual families from neighbouring
Kfar Yona as a project of support for Netanya victims of terror.
Others were donated by UJIA of Great Britain for 18 new immigrant families that
have suffered serious injuries or loss in the recent terror attack on Netanya.
Volunteer drivers who delivered the gifts reported being moved by their meetings
with these grateful families.
Let's hope these families, and others not yet reached by NTVF, will enjoy a
healthy and peaceful New Year.
Netanya Terror Victims Fund have been approached by the Netanya Municipality to
support one of their upcoming projects.
They are sending 16 child victims of terror on a one week trip to Greece.
They have asked us to fund pocket money to these children for their trip.
We would like to give each child a gift of $100.

Netanya Terror Victims Fund, together with qualified psychologist, Dr. Yoel
Livneh, is planning a unique new project to rehabilitate victims who are
currently suffering trauma and unable to face the world, or to work.
We will bring several such terror victims to volunteer a few hours a week to
help with activities with mentally handicapped children, or with cancer
patients.
Their work will be professionally supervised.
It is expected that the effects of their contribution will renew a sense of
usefulness to people who have lost their will.
By their efforts they will slowly be reintroduced back into the work market.
We will reward those trauma patients who participate in the program by gifting
them a small sum of money for the hours worked.
We will then publicly acknowledge their success by holding an lunch, after three
or four months participation in the project, where they will be awarded with
Certificates of Appreciation.
People interested in sponsoring this project, or adopting a participant, are
invited to make contact with Netanya Terror Victims Fund.
Please watch this space for future projects....
