ANDRE FRIED, 47, was a well liked and
successful dentist in Netanya. Andre immigrated to Israel from Hungary with his wife, Idit, in the late 70’s. It had become a tradition for the Fried family to celebrate Seder night at the Park Hotel. Andre and his wife were among the 29 killed in what has become known as the Passover massacre. Hamas claimed responsibility. They leave a son, Tom, 17, and a daughter, Shirley, 21. IDIT FRIED, 47, was a nurse in Laniado Hospital. She also helped Israelis wishing to study medicine in Hungary, from where she emigrated with her husband, Andre, in the late 70’s. Idit, her husband, mother, and father were among the 29 killed by a Hamas terrorist in the Park Hotel where the family regularly celebrated Passover.
