SARIEL KATZ, 21, was a sergeant in the
IDF. He was one of 17 people killed on June 5, 2002, when a vehicle packed
with high explosives rammed the bus that was taking him to his base. Despite the distance, Sariel traveled home every day to be with his sick parents. He was considered to be an excellent youth leader and an exemplary soldier. Sgt.Sariel Katz was buried in Netanya’s military cemetery. |
